The Playa Laguna road has been given the first aid as a volunteer community act. We funded the project ourselves and increased the amount of Calice to fill in the holes in the road that made the entering of the Playa Laguna neightborhood difficult. The total cost for the project has been so far RD$22,800.
All residents in Playa Laguna 1 & 2, and in the new phase 4 also known as Escondido Bay are encouraged to participate with a donation to the project.
If support for the project is succesful, we may continue monthly maintanance in order to keep the road in a condition that everybody in this nice neightbourhood are able to enjoy.
The future aim of the project is to resurface the entire road after the development of the BlueGreen condo project and with their participation. At that point most of the heavy construction trafic will be diminished from the Playa Laguna road. Currently the idea is to bit by bit raise the leavel of the road approx. 30cm (12 inches) in order to avoid future problems with rain water and flooding to be able to pave and build a run-off system for the road.

Great job, the road is already better with this first aid repair effort. I wish somebody had done this earlier!
I hope you all the best. We need this kind of community action.
